- Yarn stretches 1 inch when wet so keep that in mind when choosing size. Your Hat circumference is one inch less than your Head circumference to ensure your hat fits snug.
-Select the size that correlates with your head circumference if you want a snug fit. If you want a looser fit then choose a size up.
